Your browser, your choice
Cookie Notice
Mirror Portbase uses only the storage needed to remember your consent choice; optional analytics remain off unless accepted.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text records a website or service asks a browser to retain. Similar technologies include local storage, which can remember a simple value without sending it with every request. They may support essential operation, preferences or measurement.
What this site uses
The current site stores one first-party preference in local storage. It does not set advertising cookies. The static enquiry form sends its demonstration request only when you choose to submit it.
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
mirrorportbase_cookie_choice | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies so the banner does not repeat | Until manually cleared | Mirror Portbase (first party) |
| Optional analytics | Not currently deployed; would measure aggregate page use only after acceptance and this table would be updated first | Not applicable | None currently |
The preference record is essential to honour the choice you made. Rejecting optional use does not block articles, session details or the contact form.
Public images and third parties
Pages load photographs from public image hosts. A host may receive your IP address, user-agent and image request and may operate according to its own privacy notice. Mirror Portbase does not place third-party advertising or social tracking pixels. If analytics or embedded media are added later, they will not run before any consent required by law.
Manage or disable storage
Use the banner’s equally available Accept or Reject buttons. You can also clear site data in browser settings, block storage for this domain or use private-browsing controls. Clearing the value causes the banner to return on the next visit.
Disabling all browser storage means the site cannot remember your banner decision, so the notice may reappear. Core content and enquiry functionality remain available. Browser help pages explain controls for cookies and local storage; settings vary by browser and device.
